MATC Webmaster & MAINEtainer Editor Whately, MA David has been a member of MATC for over 15 years starting as trail maintainer on Barren Mountain in the 100 mile wilderness section of the Maine AT and then serving as District Manager for the White Cap District. He is the webmaster for the MATC website – www.matc.org and editor of the MATC quarterly newsletter, The MAINEtainer. A retired school superintendent from Sanford, Maine, now living in the western Massachusetts town of Whately. He is an active runner, hiker, x-country skier, musician and busy grandfather! Dave believes that volunteering with the Maine Appalachian Trail Club is the perfect way to give back and support the AT in Maine.
