Doug has been an MATC member since 1998 and a campsite maintainer since 2006. He also project leads major lean-to restoration projects and has assisted with numerous new moldering privy installations. He has been the Club’s Corresponding Secretary since 2018.
He joined the Maine Trail Center/Trail Champions committee post-pandemic under Lester Kenway’s leadership, and assumed that role in late 2023. He has led many successful work trips to the Skowhegan site to clear brush and complete the remaining work on the crew quarters.
He retired in 2020 after 37 years in the semiconductor industry and has since expanded his club roles over numerous committees.
