Kim began his career as a Law Clerk for the Maine Supreme Court in 1978 and became a staff attorney at Maine PUC in 1979 where he worked for five years. In 1984, Kim became an in-house attorney at CMP and moved to private practice in 1987 joining Curtis Thaxter in Portland. In 2009, he joined Thermal Energy Storage of Maine as VP where he served until 2015. A graduate of Hebron Academy, Kim earned his AB in English at Vassar College and his JD from Brooklyn Law School in 1978, cum laude. Kim enjoys travel, sailing, skiing and music as well as his three children and five grandkids. He and his wife Alison live in Portland.
