Trail Champions Chair/MATC President Lester Kenway returned to the trail this week to speak with WVII Fox 22’s Kayla Heavey about Trail Champions, the Campaign for the Maine Trail Center. Said Lester, “It took 16 years to create the Appalachian Trail using existing trails and new trails from Georgia to Maine. They say it takes forever to maintain it!”
